North American Mission Board's Send Relief team and the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief team began responding before Hurricane Harvey made landfall, deploying hundreds of crisis buckets and sending other supplies that would be needed in the immediate aftermath of the storm. Now, there are tens of thousands of displaced Texans who will need hot meals, fresh water, and help to restore their homes and lives. Disaster relief teams will be on the ground for months to come.

Pray for those who have been deeply affected by the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, those who have been displaced, the provision of physical needs, as well as spiritual needs. Pray that many would come to know Jesus Christ through this crisis.

Large feeding units are currently being deployed through the Arkansas Baptist State Convention. Volunteers must be trained. The next Emergency Feeding Trainings are on September 6 and September 13 from 9am - 2pm in Little Rock.
